In a cruel twist of fate, Jacobs avenged the Queenstown debacle with a 9 and 8 thrashing of member Doyle, leaving him standing alone on the top of an Irish hill wondering what happened.
Playing with members Barnes and Jacobs at the Queenstown site of the Summer Solstice event, Doyle posted a score of 120 points over 54 holes, far outdistancing Barnes and Jacobs. It is a record that seemingly is unbreakable.
They were competing against elite amateur players in the state of MD and had a strong finish. Congratulations men!
